Our principles

The United Grand Lodge of Morocco (GLUM) is an initiatory order to guarantee the Masonic Tradition. It is the only guarantor of the Grand Lodge Scottish Rite Ancient and Accepted of Morocco. As required by the living Tradition and millennium, G. L. U. Mr. derives its regularity of its parentage and its principles. The G. L. U. M. was statutorily created and regularly. After its creation, it has also been recognized by LA GRANDE LOGE DE FRANCE. The G. L. U. Mr. works to the glory of God, known by his attribute of the Creator and as the Grand Architect of the Universe. Its members are exclusively men of good character, who profess a faith in God (be it Muslims, Jews or Christians), law-abiding, the constituted authorities of the kingdom, and who, while working to achieve them individual commitment to spiritual practice Fraternity and Charity. Upon initiation of the Freemasons of G. L. U. Mr. assume a solemn obligation on the three great lights of Freemasonry: the Volume of Sacred Law (represented in all our Lodges by the Torah, the Bible and the Koran), the square and compasses. The Torah, the Bible and the Koran, the Square and the Compass are always exposed in the work of the Grand Lodge and the Lodges under its administration. During this work the discussion of religious and political order are strictly prohibited from the same G. L. U. Mr. and all the lodges that are attached scrupulously observe the Veterans Duties, "Land Mark" customs and usages of "Masons". None of denying Party does report Masonic Lodges with mixed or women's Lodges.
